What makes our plants special?
We grew these plants.
It sounds simple, but it's a big deal. In a world where most plant sellers are not plant growers, this matters!
We pick each plant variety for our Virginia climate. We select these varieties because they grow well here.
We plant these seeds with our own hands, and we tend to these baby plants for weeks and months before they go home with you.
As well, many of these are the same varieties that we grow on our organic farm to feed to our own community.
What makes our plants better?
Organic transplants are better suited for a home garden.
Our USDA Certified Organic transplants are grown in an organic compost-based potting mix from seed to transplant.
Compost is a slow-release fertilizer that sustains the plant throughout it’s life.
Because this region is their natural home, our plants adapt easily to transplanting in mid-Atlantic gardens. They feel at home because this is their home!
You will see the difference in how your plants grow. You will see the difference in how much your garden yields.
